SPIRAEA June Bride

Better known as Japanese Bridal Wreath.

A dense medium sized shrub with graceful slender branches.

Young leaves have a purplish tint and mature to grey-green.

Flowers of pure white are produced in small clusters all along the arching branches in late May and June.

The blooms are produced with such profusion the whole plant often appears white.

Ideal choice for mixed and shrub borders but can also be used to make an effective flowering hedge.

Very hardy, Spiraea June Bride will grow and flower under the most adverse of conditions even tolerating smoke and other urban pollutants.

Thrives in most soils except thin chalk or bog, happy in light shade but is best in full sun.

Recognised as one of the most effective and free flowering of the Spiraea family.

To ensure a good display the following season older shoots should be pruned out after flowering.

Our Spiraea plants are supplied ex. 9cm pots and can be planted out immediately but may benefit from growing on for a short time in a slightly lager container before planting in their final growing positions.

We ask all our buyers to remember Spiraea plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just enjoying a well-earned rest before bursting into action for the new season. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the product we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Spiraea June Bride will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given.  Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
