Lobelia Colour Cascade – Stunning Trailing Summer Blooms
Create a Cascade of Colour in Your Garden
Lobelia Colour Cascade is a spectacular trailing annual that transforms hanging baskets, window boxes, and container gardens into living fountains of vibrant colour. With delicate stems that tumble gracefully over the edges of pots and planters, this exuberant variety can cascade two feet or more, creating a dramatic, waterfall-like effect perfect for patios, balconies, and garden displays.
Exquisite, Eye-Catching Flowers
The blooms of Lobelia Colour Cascade are small but strikingly intricate, featuring a tubular shape that flares into five delicate petals. Many flowers display a contrasting white or yellow throat, drawing attention and adding visual depth. This variety offers a rich palette of colours including deep sapphire blues, electric purples, crisp whites, and vibrant magentas. The foliage is neat and green, providing the perfect backdrop, though in peak season the flowers often nearly obscure the leaves entirely, forming a living curtain of colour.
Thrives in Cooler Seasons
Lobelia Colour Cascade performs best in cooler spring and summer conditions, making it ideal for early-season planting. The trailing stems pair beautifully with other container favourites such as trailing petunias, ivy geraniums, or silver helichrysum, allowing gardeners to create sophisticated, layered displays. The nectar-rich flowers also attract butterflies, adding life and movement to your garden arrangements.
Easy to Grow and Maintain
This low-maintenance annual is easy to grow from seed, and with proper care, it produces a continuous display of blooms throughout the season. Regular watering, good drainage, and a sunny to partially shaded location ensure peak performance. Each packet contains detailed growing instructions to help even beginner gardeners achieve stunning results.
