Hebe MARGRET
Commonly known as Shrubby Veronica this cultivar was raised at Rocklands Nursery in North Yorkshire in the 1980’s.
A neat, compact, evergreen shrub with deep green, glossy leaves.
From mid-May till late July elegant spikes of light or sky-blue flowers fading to white as they mature are produced in great numbers and this profusion of bloom is often repeated in early autumn.
These nectar rich blooms attract swarms of butterflies and other beneficial insects making Hebe Margret a great choice for a wildlife garden.
Fully hardy and seldom growing more that 60cm high it looks good at the front of a mixed border or in the rockery and excels when grown in decorative pots or containers.
Any pruning necessary should be done after flowering.
Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
All pictures used are of mature plants in bloom, they are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the plant at all times of the year.
Our plants are supplied ex. 10cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions

We ask all our buyers to remember plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons. Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare modernpropertysolutions, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.Hebe MARGRET.
