ERIGERON karvinskianus

 Commonly known as Fleabane but is also sometimes called Spanish Daisy, Mexican Daisy or Mexican Fleabane

 Erigeron karvinskianus is a charming little mat forming perennial plant, native to Mexico but now established all over the world.

 Masses of small daisy like flowers emerge white with yellow centres before turning pinkish-purple giving the entire plant an unusual two-tone appearance.

 Amazingly versatile, Fleabane is low growing, happy in full sun or partial shade, tolerant of coastal conditions but does need well drained soil.

 Stunning when used to creep down the sides of stone or brick steps or tucked into wall crevices and allowed to spill over or scattered in the cracks between paving stones but Spanish Daisy is equally as effective when used as an edging plant in a mixed border or along-side paths and can also find use in a gravel garden.

 Flowering from May until October Erigeron karvinskianus is adored by butterflies and bees making it a wonderful addition to the wildlife garden as well.

We ask all our buyers to remember Fleabane plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

 We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Erigeron are checked and inspected visually before packing. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date.
