Wool Slug Pellets

Natural Protection for Gardens, Beds & Vegetable Patches

Our Wool Slug Pellets offer a simple, natural and highly effective solution for preventing slugs and snails from damaging your plants. Made from 100% British wool, these pellets create a physical barrier that pests avoid due to the irritating texture on their foot, keeping flowers, vegetables and young plants safe from harm.

How Wool Slug Pellets Work

Unlike traditional chemical alternatives, these pellets provide protection using only natural fibres:

• Form a wide, fibrous protective ring around plants

• Expand when watered to create a dense mat

• Irritate the soft underside of slugs and snails

• Prevent easy movement across the surface

This natural barrier dramatically reduces slug activity without harming wildlife, soil health or beneficial insects.

Enriches Soil & Promotes Stronger Plant Growth

Beyond pest prevention, the pellets offer several soil-boosting benefits:

• Release slow-release nutrients as they break down

• Improve soil conditioning, structure and moisture retention

• Act as an organic mulch to suppress weeds

• Support long-term garden health
