KESTREL Seed Potatoes
A recent introduction, Kestrel is a very attractive and well flavoured second early potato.
Tubers are of a consistent size and shape and have a smooth skin with a unique pinkish/purplish blush around the eyes.
A waxy texture and a wonderful old-fashioned potato taste help to make Kestrel one of the great all-rounders of the potato world.
Very versatile, the tubers can be boiled, steamed, mashed, chipped, baked, roasted or sauted.
Fast becoming a household favourite because of its delicious, slightly sweet taste.
Bred by Jack Dunnett, Kestrel has taken the exhibition world by storm and is regarded by many as one of the best potato varieties in living memory.
Kestrel has excellent resistance to blackleg, potato virus, and bruising plus it is also double eelworm resistant and slug resistant.
Fast becoming one of the potatoes that you should always grow.
