HYPERICUM Little Misstery
An exceptional new variety of Hypericum bred in Republic of Ireland.
The bright green leaves are variegated with a strong yellow and the younger foliage also has a pretty red or pink tinge.
This wonderful variegation remains distinct throughout the growing season.
From July to October Little Misstery carries masses of the bright yellow cup-shaped flowers the Hypericum family of plants are so well known for and these blooms are beautifully enhanced by conspicuous red anthers.
Flowers are followed in autumn by red or pinkish red fruits much prized by flower arrangers
Bees and many other beneficial insects find Hypericum Little Misstery very attractive.
Neat and tidy in habit this bushy little plant can be used in a many different ways, it is suitable as a spot plant or at the front of borders but is equally at home in a container.
Hypericum Little Misstery seldom if ever grows more than 30cm tall with a similar spread.
Although tolerant of most soils best results are obtained in a fertile, well drained site.
An easy shrub to care for, keep it in shape by trimming immediately after flowering and feed with a general fertilizer annually.
Our Hypericum plants are supplied ex. 9cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions.

For a little more information on this plant Garden Tags have a great description on there website.
Please remember plant maintenance is absolutely essential and means we need to prune back some items at certain times of the year to help maintain shape and encourage new growth.
We ask all our buyers to remember Hypericum are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons. Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.
We want you to be happy with your Hypericum and all our plants are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Hypericum Little Misstery will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error
