HYDRANGEA Unique.
A medium to large vigorous shrub with green, oval, deeply veined leaves and an upright habit.
Flowering from early July until late September Hydrangea Unique bears massive conical panicles of white flowers that turn deep purplish/pink as they mature and the colour intensifies as the blooms age.
These huge, dense, very showy flower heads held above the handsome broad leaves are often 8-10 inches long and make great dried flowers.
Like all Hydrangea, Unique is easy to grow and performs best in a moist, sunny but well drained border but is equally at home in a large container on the patio.
One of the more cold hardy varieties of Hydrangea, Unique will thrive where others falter but very wind sites should be avoided.
Flowering on new wood the plant produces larger blooms when pruned hard in spring.
Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (AGM).

Please remember plant maintenance is absolutely essential and means we need to prune back some items at certain times of the year to help maintain shape and encourage new growth.
We ask all our buyers to remember Hydrangea are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons. Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Hydrangea will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error
