Geranium Kashmir White.

Commonly known as Cranesbill and sometimes referred to as Hardy Geranium.

First grown in the British Isles in the 16^th century the Cranesbill should not be confused with the half hardy Pelargonium popularly referred to as Geranium.

This plant is usually found in the herbaceous border where it is used with great effect to suppress excessive weed growth.

Geranium Kashmir White forms slow, creeping mats of very finely cut pale-green leaves and may occasionally grow to approx. 45cm tall.

From mid-summer the foliage is smothered in attractive, single white flowers with pale lilac veins.

A doyen of the herbaceous border and when planted en-mass Kashmir White makes superb groundcover.

Left to grow unhindered Geranium Kashmir White will eventually spread to form large, weed smothering drifts.

Geraniums will grow happily in any reasonable garden soil in full sun or dappled shade.

The saucer shaped flowers should be removed once they have faded.

If  Geranium plants start to look a bit scruffy they respond well to being trimmed back.

Large or overcrowded clumps can be lifted and split or divided in March or April.

Keep watch for slugs in spring and cut back the stems to ground level in autumn.

Our Geranium plants of are supplied ex. 10cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions

This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
