Commonly known as Spindle.

Euonymus Emerald and Gold is a small, bushy, compact, evergreen shrub first raised in USA around 1967.

Broad, glossy, deep green leaves with irregular, bright, golden yellow margins.

The leaves may become tinged with pink in cold weather making it an extremely attractive plant in the winter garden.

Generally used as groundcover but if Emerald and Gold is given support it can also be used as a climber.

Superb pot or container plant for the patio or courtyard and excellent as a low growing hedge.

Emerald and Gold will thrive in sun or partial shade in any reasonable garden soil.

Easy to grow, this very popular shrub will help add charm and colour to any garden.

Our Euonymus plants are supplied ex. 9cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions.

Please remember plant maintenance within our nursery is absolutely essential and means we need to prune back some items at certain times of the year to help maintain shape and encourage new growth.

We ask all our buyers to remember Euonymus are living plants and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

 We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Euonymus are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Emerald and Gold will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
