Please don’t panic if a plant looks different to the image on the website. It is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just ‘resting’ before it bursts into action in the coming season. In autumn and winter many shrubs lose their leaves and will look rather bare and stick-like and from August onwards the foliage on many perennial plants will have died back and there may be nothing showing above the soil. This is quite normal and not a matter for panic or worry, your plants will look great during the growing season.
