A delightful low growing evergreen shrub with a spreading habit.

The leaves of Queen of Carpets are small, more oval than round, dark glossy green and are about 2cm long.

It produces small white flowers in early summer followed by red berries in autumn.

A good wildlife plant Cotoneaster Queen of Carpets is great for attracting birds, butterflies and bees to the garden.

Will grow in any reasonable garden soil, in full sun or partial shade.

Queen of Carpets fruits best when grown in full sun.

Excellent when used as groundcover or on banks and is drought tolerant when established.

Our Cotoneaster plants are supplied ex. 10cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions

We ask all our buyers to remember Cotoneaster plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

 We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Cotoneaster are checked and inspected visually before packing. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Cotoneaster Queen of Carpets will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
