Cistus Little Miss Sunshine.

Brand new variety of Rock Rose.

A compact evergreen shrub with mid-green wavy leaves edged with bright primrose yellow.

Flowering from early summer through to early autumn the crimson buds of Little Miss Sunshine open to reveal pure white saucer shaped flowers with wonderful yellow centres.

Although each flower only lasts for a day they are produced with such vigour that the entire plant seems to be ablaze with colour for months on end.

Cistus Little Miss Sunshine is a compact clump grower and will seldom if ever reach more than 18 inches tall x 12 inches wide.

Prefers a site in full sun with well-drained soil and a little shelter from cold biting winds.

Looks good when used at the front of a mixed border yet is also useful for mass planting but Cistus Little Miss Sunshine simply excels in a container where the bright variegated foliage can be viewed and admired.

Great for encouraging wildlife to the garden, butterflies and bees simply cannot resist it.

Very low maintenance, Little Miss Sunshine requires little or no pruning and is also free of virtually all pests and disease.

A strong tolerance of poor soil, drought, salty air and wind makes it a very useful addition to almost any garden.

Our plants are supplied ex. 10cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions

We ask all our buyers to remember Little Miss Sunshine is a living plant and its appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Cistus Little Miss Sunshine will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
