Berberis Pow Wow.
Also known as Barberry or Japanese Barberry.
A compact, deciduous shrub with small, round to oval leaves and a slender, upright growth habit.
When the leaves of Pow Wow open in spring they are golden-yellow flushed red but change to lime green splashed with cream in summer.
They change again in autumn, maturing to a fiery orange-red before falling.
In late May and June Berberis Pow Wow carries clusters of small yellow flowers and these are followed by small red fruit.
Seldom growing more than 1m tall this unusual Barberry prefers a site with well-drained soil and a little shade during the hottest part of the day.
All pictures used are of mature plants in bloom, they are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the plant at all times of the year.

If you need a little help when planting, Deco Bliss have a lovely video entitled HOW TO PLANT SHRUBS watch it via this link, we think it’s very useful.
We ask all our buyers to remember Berberis is a living plant and its appearance changes with the seasons. Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Berberis are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us at sales@seedsplantsbulbs.com within 48hrs of delivery. You can also notify us by telephone at 02879111497 or 02879417038. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Berberis plants will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
