ASTILBE Deutschland. False Spiraea.

ASTILBE

Deutschland.

One of the mainstays of damp, shaded or woodland gardens Astilbe is also known as False Goats Beard or False Spiraea.

The lustrous shiny green feathery fern like foliage of Astilbe Deutschland unfurls in spring and is followed in late summer by graceful upright plumes of pure white flowers.

Filling the garden with beauty like no other flower, the showy panicles or plumes of feathery flowers can be up to 50cm long and the lush filigree foliage helps make this plant a magnificent sight.

Although Astilbe can tolerate some sun they thrive best when planted in a damp shaded border or beside water.

All pictures used are of mature plants in full bloom and are for illustration purposes only, they may not reflect plants at all times of the year.

Our plants of Astilbe Deutschland are supplied ex. 9cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions.

We ask all our buyers to remember Astilbe plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Astilbe plants are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us at sales@seedsplantsbulbs.com within 48hrs of delivery.  You can also notify us by telephone at 02879111497 or 02879417038. Due to the nature of the product we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Astilbe Deutschland will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after the plants are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
