White skinned and white fleshed Arran Pilot has a firm, waxy texture and an excellent flavour best appreciated when cooked straight from the garden.

Now considered a heritage variety Arran Pilot has been around since the 1930’s and has remained popular because of it’s high yields of medium sized, shallow eyed tubers together with it’s excellent taste and outstanding boiling qualities.

Showing strong resistant to drought Arran Pilot is successful in all (including light) soil conditions.

Resistant to common scab and also shows great resistance to other forms of scab, it also scores highly for resistance to spraing.

For a first early potato Arran Pilot also has strong slug resistance.

Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Arran Pilot Seed Potatoes will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.

Seed potatoes should be kept in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, frost free place until planting.
