CYCLAMEN coum Album

It is said by many that Cyclamen coum heralds the end of winter

These cute rock garden-sized perennials burst forth in late winter with small, rounded leaves sometimes highlighted by a blackish border.

Cyclamen coum forms small clumps and in late winter these clumps are crowned by 2″ tall flowers.

Usually pink in colour, these selected plants, with mostly plain leaves, have pure white flowers and a plum nose or centre.

Album is considered a choice variety and is rare, highly prized and much in demand.

The clumps are dormant in summer and prefer to be very dry during this period.

This is easily accomplished by planting them under the canopy of trees.

Cyclamen needs to be planted very shallow, almost on top of the ground.

Flowers December to April.

Our plants of Cyclamen coum Album are supplied ex. 9cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions.

We ask all our buyers to remember Cyclamen plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

 We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Cyclamen are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us  within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Cyclamen will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission. Refunds will be issued after items are received back in a saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been shipped in error.
